Race 18 of 33 in the NASCAR Xfinity Series

Location: New Hampshire Motor Speedway - 1.058 Mile Oval

Format: 200 Laps - 211.6 Miles

Ty Dillon’s Finish: 6th

Loudon, New Hampshire - NASCAR Cup Series driver, Ty Dillon, joined the Big Machine Racing roster, this last weekend for the Crayon 200, at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway. It was a beautiful New England weekend as campers and race fans alike, filled the surrounding campgrounds and seats for what would be an exciting weekend of racing.

Dillon ran an impressive practice session with his fastest lap time of 30.508 seconds, making him 7th fastest in the session. Ty’s lap times during practice were 4th fastest on a 10-lap average. Qualifying took place immediately after practice - Ty Dillon was 18th to run and clocked a time of 30.514 - 17th fastest on the board.

Ty started the race p17 and reported that the car was a “little tight in the middle.”Caution came out with just a few laps left in Stage 1, Ty brought the car down pit road for 4 fresh tires, fuel and some minor adjustments. After rejoining the field from the pit stop, Ty ended the first stage p20.

Nearly 2 and a half hours, 9 cautions for 56 laps and a brief red flag, Ty Dillon ended the race in 8th place. During post race inspections, the No. 9 of Gragson and the No. 10 Cassill were disqualified for failing to pass. Ty Dillon and the No. 48 Spiked Coolers Chevrolet ended the day with a 6th place finish.
