NOTES AND QUOTES
INDIANAPOLIS EXPERIENCE: Road-racing ace Jade Buford made his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut on the Indianapolis Road Course last season driving the No. 07 Big Machine Distillery Chevrolet. The 2021 Rookie of the Year candidate battled inside the top 15 for several laps, ultimately finishing in the 14th position.

“The Indianapolis Road Course is where I got my first taste of Xfinity Series racing, so I’m looking forward to getting back there and seeing if we can improve upon the result we had last year," said Buford. "Indianapolis is special to all drivers and it’s a big weekend for my sponsor Big Machine Vodka Spiked Coolers, so it would be great to come out of this weekend with an awesome finish.”

NXS ROAD COURSE PERFORMANCE: In five starts on road courses this season, Buford has put together two top-15 finishes, including a best finish of 13th at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. Last season, during a limited schedule in the NXS, the 33-year-old driver earned an impressive eighth-place finish at the Charlotte Roval.

SPIKED COOLERS GRAND PRIX: Saturday is a doubleheader for Big Machine at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. In addition to the NXS race for Big Machine Racing and Jade Buford, the brand is also the title sponsor of the Big Machine Vodka Spiked Coolers Grand Prix IndyCar race earlier in the day.

“Indy is Indy, whether it’s the famed oval or the amazing road course," said Scott Borchetta, founder and CEO of Big Machine. "It’s the highest bar and it's the most important place to win. After the amazing Big Machine Music City Grand Prix last Sunday, everyone in IndyCar is on a high and that buzz is at full strength going into this weekend.”

Big Machine has had a decade-long partnership with IMS and is currently the “Official Vodka” and “Official Spiked Beverage” of the historic track.
