POCONO EXPERIENCE: This weekend Jade Buford will make his first NASCAR Xfinity Series start at Pocono Raceway. To get some experience on the “Tricky Triangle,” Buford will run in Friday’s ARCA Menards Series East race at the track. It will be his second career ARCA Series start. Earlier this season he finished ninth at Dover International Speedway.
SEASON UPDATE: Since making his first NASCAR Xfinity Series start at the Daytona Road Course in February, Buford has put together eight top-20 finishes. The NXS Rookie of the Year contender earned his best finish of the season just three races ago at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. Last weekend at his home track of Nashville Superspeedway, Buford had his best qualifying effort of the year, starting ninth in the Tennessee Lottery 250.
