In his sixth and final race for Big Machine Racing in the 2022 season, ARCA Menards Series Champion, Nick Sanchez, did not leave anything behind. With a less that traditional schedule from what we have seen throughout the season, practice began Friday with a minimal tech inspection. On Saturday, Nov. 5th, Nick’s day began early with multiple appearances and interviews but he really got to work for qualifying. With a lap time of 26.978 seconds, Nick ran a career best qualifying run, securing a 3rd place start for the NASCAR Xfinity Series Championship race.

Rolling out 3rd, Nick ran an impressive race, managing to hold his position in the top-10 most of the day and leading 4 laps. By the end of Stage 1, Nick finished 7th. With the setting sun and the changing track conditions, Nick struggled to find grip. Nick ran an impressive race and brought home a 12th place finish.

The team looks to 2023 with newly signed, Parker Kligerman, taking the wheel full time in the team’s 3rd season as part of the NASCAR Xfinity Series.
