QUOTES
JADE BUFORD, DRIVER
“I’m really looking forward to Dover this weekend and getting the opportunity to pull double duty in the ARCA Series and the Xfinity Series. I’m anxious to get there and have a little bit more time to process the track. Being able to get some extra laps in the ARCA Series should make me the most prepared I’ve been for any oval this year in the Xfinity Series. Our Big Machine Vodka Spiked Coolers team has been working really hard and I’m just excited to get the weekend going.”
NOTES
DOVER DOUBLE DUTY: This weekend Big Machine Racing driver Jade Buford will turn his first career laps at Dover International Speedway. The Nashville, Tenn. native will have a busy couple of days, running in the ARCA Series event on Friday afternoon ahead of Saturday’s 200-mile NASCAR Xfinity Series race. Buford has made one previous NXS start at a track measuring 1 mile in length. Earlier this year, he battled up into the top 10 in the later stages of the race at Phoenix Raceway ultimately coming home with a top-20 finish.
SEASON IN REVIEW: After just eight starts in the 2021 NXS season, Buford and the brand-new Big Machine Racing team have already put together four top-20 finishes. Big Machine Racing, which was just announced in January, is based in Mooresville, North Carolina and is owned by music mogul Scott Borchetta. Borchetta has a strong passion for racing and even competes himself in the Trans Am Series as well as SVRA, where he is a multi-year champion.
AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR: Outside of racing, Buford is an avid climber and outdoor enthusiast. He recently put his skills to the test, returning to the challenging courses of NBC’s hit show American Ninja Warrior. This marks his third time the 33-year-old race car driver has competed on the show, which premieres on May 31. Tune in to see if he conquered the obstacles.
SPIKED COOLERS NOW AVAILABLE: The demand for Big Machine Vodka Spiked Coolers continues to grow after first hitting shelves last month.
